The cottage is in a conservation area, in one of the most desirable villages in Taunton Deane. It nestles at the foot of the Quantock Hills, the first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England. From its front door you can explore the beautiful countryside using the network of footpaths.
Kingston is a real community with many clubs and societies you could join, including gardening, yoga, WI, painting & drama, offering the opportunity to make new friends. There is even a monthly ‘Meet The Village’ session to welcome newcomers and keep everyone in touch. The pastoral care that Kingston Church offers is second to none. The church of St Mary’s has a splendid west tower of late 15th century.

Kingston Primary School has had excellent Ofsted reports and the playgroup meets several times a week in the Village Hall.
Richard Huish College is one of the highest performing Sixth Form colleges in the country, and SCAT offers a wide range of tertiary education, and some Plymouth University degree courses.
There are outstanding public schools in Taunton and Wellington.
Taunton, only three miles away, is a market town, the County town of Somerset with a population of about 100,000. It is home to Musgrove park Hospital, the County Cricket Ground, and many other shops, businesses and enterprises.
Taunton has a temperate climate which is generally milder than the rest of the country. It has excellent rail services, and the M5 is about 15 minutes drive from Kingston.
International airports at Exeter & Bristol are both less than an hour away, and are very quick and convenient links.
