2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2

Had a nice afternoon/evening yesterday. First round Amour Fou to sort out some computer problems and catch up on Anel and Claus’s teutonic adventures then on to Goa to eat our own weight in curry. A & C gave me a bottle of Shnapps which will doubtless help stave off the non-existant cold round here. Tonight’s festivi-dees include peeps coming round here for pizza and drinks then Bar Calavera at 10:30ish for some Pocilga Beat, choons and ale.

Word of the week: Pocilga. Literally a pigsty. As is this place looks like a pigsty. Unlike my tiny, freshly-painted, new office for example. (give me a few days…)

  1. So, I hear that you’re a year older and a year wiser. Congratulations, I think.
Speaking of birthdays, you’ve failed to recognize my big day (and Snowball’s) for three years straight. No respect, none whatsoever. You just keep eating your pizza and drinking your moonshine…I’ll get over it. I will. I swear.

  2. Now that that’s out: ¡feliz cumpleaños, señor Fisher! ¡Muchas facilidades!

Has some well meaning tapatío dude get you a priest already, to bless your new office? My own tiny chiquero was damped in agua bendita, over my loud objections about sprinkling water on expensive computing equipment…

But hey, I don’t need to tell you how this town works, you probably could explain a thing or two to me. Wonderful shot, btw, the one in the previous post. Kinda makes me wish the hazy effect had lasted a bit longer.

Oh well, never mind, enjoy the senescence wisdom points 🙂

  3. Blimey, thanks everyone for the well wishing. Good to see the non-human readers well represented, Klem and Jed…

Klem, hope you're managing alright in L.A.'s snow

Happy 10000th (in binary) birthday, Tewbewks

Jed, the mathematical dog wonder, 2^5 is probably the number of tennis balls you've lost since Jan 1st.

Cheers, Jesse, I took the liberty of having a vodka and coke instead. Hope you can stretch to that : )

César, there are currently no priests in my circle of friends. The “Ven y sigueme” posters in all the buses apparently aren't working… I've spilled a bit of tequila here and there and mumbled various curses. Not really the same… Still have to prepare some tascalate… next week definitely- thanks again. And the chiapan ninjas adorned my birthday cake, you’ll be glad to hear 🙂

Alrighty, no posts for the weekend unless Barra de Navidad has wi-fi somewhere. See you next week, abrazos/strokes all round. By-ee
