Bleecker to 54th

Today’s pic (or, rather at my current publication rate… this month’s pic) is one that moves. Unless you’re viewing it in your email inbox… in which case please click here. I stopped at every road crossing and took a quick snap, along the route above, on the way to meet a friend I hadn’t seen since about 1990. Music’s the ever-wonderful Catatonia…

  1. Awesome, Gwyn. I love how you can walk 50+ blocks in NYC like it’s nothing. I miss that. This also reminded me to tell you about my favorite cheap Pakistani joint on 26th between B’way and 6th. It’s called Sirtaj, and I must’ve eaten there 3 or 4 times/week when I lived in NYC. Not a lovely place to sit, but for pick up, it rules: try the navratan curry, saag paneer, and aloo mattar. Also, cold samosas and coffee make a hell of a breakfast. XO

  2. Nice! Thanks Josh. We’re planning on eating out / getting takeaway tonight so I’ll see if DrSita’s up for it. Keep em coming.
