Just to freak out the cleaning staff, click here for what might well be a live photo from our balcony… It’s too dark at the minute, but every 30 seconds it should refresh. It’s GMT minus 6 hours for the record here. To refresh the screen, hit “F5″
Last night’s (patriotic) shepherd’s-pieathon spawned all kinds of ideas:
Tonight: Friday night music club round Jose’s psuedo uncle’s. Sunday morning: Brunch round Victor and Jayna’s Tuesday: Lucha Libre (wrestling). Definitely. No excuses this time… Sat/Sun: Arandas, Jalisco’s Tequila II Sun: Superbowl party chez nous (not my idea), I’ll be on pizza production again.
So that’s plenty to be getting on with for a few days. I feel like the photography’s taken a back seat the last few weeks, so maybe I’ll head off tomorrow morning with me 1 gig SD card and get some more Gwod cityscapes in. I’ve still got the Parque site to finish off too. So I’ll not be bored. Don’t you worry now.
Also in an idle moment I set up all my email notifications for spam at gwynunlimited to forward directly to contact @ phentermine-support.com, how d’ya like them apples eh?
Posting direct from Flickr… Here’s Nostromoo‘s 2nd batch of Welsh Cakes… and evidence of probably the first time anyone has printed my blog out on paper.
There’s been a fair old hiatus on the film review front so what better time to start from scratch as I reckon I’ll be spending a goodly few hours a week round the local cinepolis. Old mini reviews have been banished to this page. And the new ones will pop up in the Iframe on the right as per normal. Just got back from watching Miami Vice, I was hoping to see Nacho Libre but there was only the dubbed version available. Anyroad, not bad at all once you get over Colin Farrell being in every shot.
Book and music reviews never really did take off so there’ll probably be no more of them. Feel free to ask me what I’m listening to or reading at any point if the comments are slow on an entry. Anybody out there have any recommendations for music? There was a rumour the Russians were going to stop supplying cheap MP3s some time soon and I’m up for using up my credit…
The easiest border crossing yet… The only question they asked was how long I’d been in Guadalajara and whether I’d got Montezuma’s Revenge. Bizarre… Still I prefer questions about my gastrointestinal health to the usual barrage of interrogation they usually give me. On the plane they didn’t have any customs forms in English so they gave me a Spanish one, which in my sleepy state I filled in in Spanish. The customs bloke read it and saw “Country where passport issued” was Inglaterra. He crossed it out with a red pen and wrote “Mexico”. I despair at the US educational system and their Spanish teachers…
There was banks of fog at LAX so we ended up landing in Ontario Airport and hanging around for half an hour then flying back to LAX, so we got in a bit late. However I managed to sleep through both take offs, both landings and even breakfast so it’s all good.
Sita’s got a lovely little apartment here 5 minutes from Trader Joe’s so I’ve been working on various websites and keeping myself to myself. Later today we’re Downey bound. Strange internet setup here that varies between blisteringly fast and zilch and my lappy won’t connect because of lingering issues with the IE7 beta thing I stupidly installed 6 months ago… But all’s well. Intermittant blogging to follow, cheers!
