Market Researched

I got a call last night at around 8:30 from Scarborough Research who were keen to know all about my radio listening habits and newspaper reading. They probably couldn’t have found a less representative person to ask, especially since in the last week to and from work i’ve been listening to cds of The Mighty Boosh rather than the usual NPR and BBC. Anyroad, they’re going to send me more questionnaires to fill in about TV and internet use and let’s see if I can’t influence American broadcasting for the better. Somehow I’m going to try and get Angel back on, have repeats of Just Shoot Me just when i get home- 5:50, The Daily Show scheduled at 10pm. I’m going to say I change channels whenever I have pharmaceuticals advertised at me too. Ah, the power I shall wield… If anyone else has any suggestions, let me know, hit the “0 comments” link below- Cheers, gwyn

  1. Wot ‘0 comments’? It says ‘no comments’ . Oh no it doesn’t (now)!

Or ‘Behind you’ as they say in Brit Pantos.

  2. I was asked to be a ratings family for the radio a year ago. They kept sending me one dollar every few weeks to ensure my faithful compliance. I made a total of $5. I think you should ask for at least $6 (higher living costs out your way, you know).

  3. My time’s worth at least 30 cents a day. Where’s the radio ratings union when you need it? Is there a sub-branch of the UAW? Anyroad, hope you’re keeping warm out UMass way, cheers
