Yesterday we took M & S to tequila, while they went on the obligatory Cofradia tequila factory tour, I drove off to a few tiny little villages and headed into the fields to capture a bit more of the agavero landscape. Here’re me faves:

Not sure I ever mentioned that we’re having an article published in a US journal on food and drink, Sita’s words and my pix. Go Team Tequila!

  2. Congratulations on the article. Is there any truth to the claim that they are plowing under the agave fields to plant corn for ethanol? What shall become of Sammy Hagar?

I am enjoying the photo blog mightily, by the way.

  3. Gracias, mamá. Un día saldrá el libro…

Cheers, Annelise. Good luck with yer new job 😀

Ta, Jesse. You heard right, agave prices are rock bottom at the moment but there's a chance some disease could wipe them out at any minute thanks to the disturbing monoculture they've got going so ethanol is a safer bet. As for certain dodgy Van Halen relics, it looks like he's hedging his bets. I was all for his side project as it kept him away from recording studios… Glad you like the Phlog, tell your friends, comment, subscribe!
