Particles and Waves
vfxy.com has featured my little blog as their photoblog of the week which is quite an honour, considering the level of quality over there. They must have been running out… Anyroad, it means I’m going to have to try for a higher quality of pix because of the increased traffic. If you’re here from vfxy, thanks and BIENVENIDOS! and can I interest you in some subscription options?
This photo is from the magic hour in the back garden here in Portland, Oregon.
Wonderful light.
Cheers, Jamie

Gracias y saludos! Tu amiga en Portland nunca me escribió, ¿cómo está?
Loving the shafts of light.
Ta, , They’re there every morning when it’s crisp. I liked the tones with the frost. Enjoying your natural disasters/Taunton pix, btw 🙂
Really nice picture i like it a lot
Thanks Jon!
I just love the way the light creates a pattern through the fens.. Really nice black and white work too!
ha! I love your title! It took me a second to remember it is the theory of light duality. I love this shot. The converging lines and crisp edges and diverse tones are wonderful.
Thanks Claus & makaid!
Whenever I find myself looking at shadows, I instantly think black and white.
