Photoshop’s gone Web App 2.0
And it has some very fancy Flash gallery options. Think I’ll stick to Flickr and Picasa locally though.
Early stages yet though, but it could be very hand if you need to quickly shop something on a friend’s computer.

Dad just published the fruit of years of research by my Uncle David and Auntie Liz in his Flickrstream– the family tree dating back the 18th century. It’s altogether humbling and an impressive project in itself.
Today DrSita headed off to New Orleans, back on Friday. News as and when. Mario & Ange Pt II:
Last Tuesday, did 9 to 5 on campus, while M&A went to the zoo (i think…), then in the evening Sita cooked (again) and we played a new board game, Sequence, which is like Connect 4, but with cards, teamwork and a lot more vitriol…
Wednesday, 9 to 4 on campus for me, then a walk with ‘Cus and in the evening M&A&me saw the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, in the frozen mists of Moreland. 3 hours long or so, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Like a sci-fi Forrest Gump. 4 Lulus.
Click the picture for bigger, it’s a composite of 26 photos I took on Sunday standing in the market by la Iglesia Santa Teresita. Browse around on Flickr and you’ll also find pictures from La Barranca, the huge canyon where Guadalajara suddenly comes to a grinding halt. It’s also where the UdeG school of architecture is, so on weekdays the park is full of furtive young couples carrying their blueprints around in cardboard tubes. Lovely.
So along with the sunshine, Monica and Daniel left Guadalajara this morning at some point or another, we slept through the exodus. They took us out to the La Loteria cantina and the I Latina last night for a superlative send off. It’s been grand having them around. Some of many highlights include trips to Michoacan, watching entire seasons of TV programs, washing the dog, German/Mexican cuisine, more new restaurants than you can shake a fork at, Chacala, Spanish lessons in Starbucks and bars, Sanjuaneando, craft buying frenzies, accidental furniture shopping in the Baratillo, Lucha Libre, Tequila and lots more… Happy trails, Monica and OD!
Caption contest… comment below
but prompted to post after being put on hold for 3 minutes and force fed an orchestral/muzak rendition of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall Pt II”. I’d have stayed on longer to see if Nine Inch Nail’s “Hurt” or maybe M.A.S.H. theme, “Suicide is Painless”, was going to be next, but cell phone calls cost a fortune round this way… TelMex have the Beatles catalog when you’re put on hold. I wonder if they’re paying the royalties. Shall have to ask them next time my bill has more anomolies…
Twas the night antes de Christmas and all through the casa,
not a creature was stirring ?Caramba! ?Qu? pasa?
Los ni?os were tucked away in their camas,
some in long underwear, otros in pijamas.

And after much research it seems that Atticus is definitely some kind of Schipperke. A belgian dog, no less. Fond of children but not ‘Vermin’. So he’s probably not going to get on famously with our little varmints, Klem and Lulu. Ah well…
Saw ‘The Incredibles’ last night. Blimey. 4 Lulus. and saw ‘Sideways’ last week, 4.5 Lulus. I aint got time to review them so I’ll be coming up with some box that blogs what I’ve seen + a few comments in the near future. UPDATE- 10:45pm Sunday night, there you go, on the right, in that IFrame. Just what I wanted… so if I get time to write reviews I’ll link to them from there. I’m going to go to bed all self-satisfied now. Sita’s wrapping pressies in the living room and I’m not allowed in. Any suggestions for presents for the girl who has everything?
