Fin del Verano en Ojos de Pez
Just got back from another fantastic trip back home to the UK. I think I managed to miss the worst excesses of the Utahn summer though it’s still hitting 90°F+, whatever that is in real money, on a regular basis.
Of course, Atticus is pretty resilient to whatever temperatures come our way but our walks tend to be around sunset now. These here fisheye shots are from a brief walk round the neighbourhood yesterday evening.
The next post might well be a timelapse video. I just ordered this gadget and can’t wait to test drive it… Hasta pronto y’all!
Feliz CumpleaNos
Someone had a birthday… I took all the lovely messages from DrSita’s facebook page and fed them into Wordle and put them over this here diptych of Atticus doing his thing. Here’s the result… Click here for the massive version.
Tillamook Dog
Hello! Here’s a photo of Atticus on one of his rare solo forays. He’s rarely off the lead because, although he responds pretty well to clicks and ‘come back here ya little bugger’ shouts, it only takes one seagull for him to head off far out of earshot towards the horizon.
This is from 10 miles north of Tillamook and I think I’ve saved up enough pix to provide one photo a day this week. Gorgeous part of the world, and fine company what with my folks and an adventurous little schipperke.
Tryon Walkies
And we’re back! Happy MLK day… This is Atticus leading the way around Tryon State Park on a cold morning (you can see his breath)…
Atticus in the park
It’s supremely difficult juggling an expensive digital camera, a vintage Kodak Duaflex IV and a hyper-active, squirrel-crazed schipperke. However, occasionally he does stand still and lets me take a shot like this.
Showdown at the Ajijic corral
Atticus-centric view of an oncoming charro and his dog in Ajijic town centre.
