Tahonas…Tohonas…Schmahonas

Hello to anyone surfing by thanks to the link in Mumpsimus Forum. Thought you might like the phone number for the Columpio place, if so click on the picture for a larger version: 100_5611 Also feel free to comment away or shove yourself on the guestmap… The entry on our weekend to Tequila is either at the bottom of the page or following this link. Enjoy 🙂

Last night Jose and me went to see the late showing of V for Vendetta (V de Venganza) and it was brilliant. Eyes right for a review sometime today. That’s all for now, off to chambear (work) to see if the internet’s back there or not… It’s something of an inconvenience for web design and historical research when you can’t connect to teh intarwebs.

  1. Envious of Sita getting an audience with Marcos (he`s changed his name from subcomandante to something else now, a bit like Prince, he really is the master of PR).

Guestmap is a nice idea but I can`t remove myself from wherever I placed myself initially (Guatemala maybe) to update it to my new location in Patagonia, without adding additional Ed`s to the map – any ideas?

Last but not least, I hope your grandma is recovering and wish her all the best.
    Love,
    Eduardo

  2. Yep, according to Wikipedia he’s ‘Subdelegate Zero’ the artist formerly known as squiggle.

for the guestmap, add yerself again and I’ll delete your last entry. Such are the vaguaries of Bravenet…

I’m a little envious of you travelling to Patagonia. Ya bugger, but again, I’ll get over it… Arrived just in time for the autumn I presume. Send my regards to the penguins.

And ta for the wellwishing with my nanny. She’s improving daily, but she’s nearly 94… The main thing is she’s not in any kind of pain and is surrounded by family and friends. Incidentally, my auntie Jill (mum’s sister) is on a cruise round your way right now. If you see any Canadians with a Welsh accent send my regards 🙂

    Peace y abrazos,
    gwyn

  3. Added another entry to the map just before reading your reply, so you can delete the Guatemala alien.

Patagonia is fantastic, I've only seen this southern tip at present and will be travelling up through it in the coming weeks to see more, but so far I'm captivated by it's beauty, if a little sore from the big trek I did yesterday to the top of a mountain.

It would be nice to add more photos to my blog but internet cafes never have the software to resize and compress images so it never happens. I might add some from other people's photos on flickr as I didn't get any photos in places like Sao Paulo and Rio. I don't suppose you know of an online site that would let me upload a pic and resize it online then save the results? I've downloaded some free software that does the job previously but once again it's rare that a cafe lets you install software 🙁

Anyhow, I'll be sure to say hello to any penguins and welsh speaking canadians I come across on route. So far I've only seen loads of bunny rabbits in the national park and a human sized bear and penguin walking down the street here in Ushuaia – it's getting more like Northern Exposure down here everyday!

  4. I’d suggest creating a free flickr account, uploading to there then clicking the All Sizes icon and saving as to the desktop. that should do you. Bring on the photographic goodness… off to L.A. soon. Patagonia it aint… wish me luck with the border patrol…
