Since the answer to that question seems to be no (at the moment), I&#8217;ll keep perfecting my house-husband skillz.<\/p>\n<p>I noticed George has published a photo of the banner I made t&#8217;other day, in action at the SF blues festival: (I&#8217;ll just link to <a href=\"http:\/\/tectonicbrands.com\/fridayagain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/img_4627.jpg\">the picture<\/a> cos the site&#8217;s not live yet I think)<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday seemed as good a day as any to make some bread. Drsita was out earning a living, Atticus was uncommonly mopey (he&#8217;s not big on low pressure fronts). So I downloaded a recipe, printed it out, decided it was wrong and thought to myself, well I can make pizza dough, I reckon bread&#8217;s probably the same with more yeast. So I nipped to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newseasonsmarket.com\/homepage.aspx?location=H\">New Seasons<\/a> round the corner and assembled the ingredients. Flour and yeast, and some &#8216;erbs from the garden. A bit of mixing, kneading, prodding and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/g_w_y_n\/2909476017\/\">one minor burn<\/a> later&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Behold: Basic Portland, Oregano Bread&#8230;<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 450px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a title=\"Bread by Guanatos Gwyn, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/g_w_y_n\/2909476817\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3158\/2909476817_66359eb9d7.jpg\" alt=\"Bread\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">The sous chef looks on expectantly<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Needs more salt, but it&#8217;s alright. The last time I cooked bread was probably in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kingston-st-mary-school.ik.org\/\">Kingston St Mary Primary School<\/a> circa 1982.
