Saturday night Aranza invited us all round to bid farewell to one of the Tapatian Flickreros, Laura who\u00b4s off to France for a good while. There was much singing, toasting, guitarring and even Atticus danced&#8230; Colibr\u00ed has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/88035108@N00\/sets\/72157601305632812\/\">some photos<\/a> as does <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ego2005\/sets\/72157601551329789\/\">Elias<\/a> which capture the spirit nicely&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The Hitatchi thing finally $orted itself out&#8230; * edit Cheque bounced&#8230;. * Finished another translation of subtitles for an upcoming film presentation&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday we had a nice lie in then I bussed it to the baratillo street market. If you go late it\u00b4s extremely crowded so I ended up buying nothing (I even passed on Crochet World&#8217;s Book of Slippers, yours for 5 pesos&#8230;) and just went off photographing things in an area I hadn\u00b4t really been (on foot) before. Then a few raindrops fell so I ended up getting the bus the last few blocks to protect me camera&#8230; Anyroad here&#8217;re the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/g_w_y_n\/tags\/cruzandolacalzada\/\">photos from there<\/a> and below, a couple of faves&#8230; And there&#8217;s another one over at <a href=\"https:\/\/agaveweb.com\/photos\/2007\/08\/20\/futbolin\/\">my photo blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/g_w_y_n\/1173904251\/\" title=\"Intercambio de fotos\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1269\/1173904251_23ee4888d7.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"IMGP0281\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/g_w_y_n\/1174776090\/\" title=\"Intercambio de fotos\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1102\/1174776090_8ab921135e.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"IMGP0284\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>After that we nipped out to McDonalds, cos I was starving then rented a couple of videos on the way home. I&#8217;d not seen the 6th Sense before, thinking that if you know <a href=\"http:\/\/www.threadless.com\/product\/844\/Spoilt#zoom\" title=\"spoiler alert!\">the twist<\/a> there wouldn&#8217;t be much point, but it turned out to be eminently watchable all the same. Then a quiet night in front of the telly and a few quesadillas and surprisingly good red wine from Washington state. Red Diamond. Recommended&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>This week&#8230; web designery, more translation, and a trip to Tequila on wednesday I think.
