Travelling through Swansea Uni. Sitting at the same computers (literally) that we used to email when we were doing our TEFL course nigh on 6 years ago. Shall be popping by the Spanish Dept to see if any of me old (also literally) professors are hobbling around. Went to Rhossili and Port Eynon this morning and walked through SIngleton park where we saw the 95% eclipse way back when.
\nI’d been worried about my failing memory of late, but it’s just not being around familiar stuff i think. All kinds of memories are flooding back like during the first afternoon pint following an all-nighter. Might see some of you at Ashton Court festival this weekend… Am off to Swansea town center to see if it’s all Starbucks or retains its unique “charms”. Blinding Summer so far. We met a bunch of students at the pub (The Red Lion) in Llangyndir who’ve promised me 2 gig’s worth of Happy Hardcore MP3s on Friday night. Expect more “dancin’” to hixxy, hms, dreamscape, helter skelter, bonkers, ahh, fond memories… have a video of me round stu’s giving it some from the other week, probably won’t see the light of day though.
