It&#8217;s got so much stuff there though. Downloading it was like finding a box of badly sorted photos and letters from several years ago.<\/p>\n<p>I give it another month before it disappears completely.<\/p>\n<p>For now, here are some highlights from memory lane circa 2004:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gwynunlimited.com\/oldsite\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-830\" title=\"gwyn-fishers-vanity-site-gwynunlimitedcom-welcome_1212618769803\" src=\"https:\/\/agaveweb.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/gwyn-fishers-vanity-site-gwynunlimitedcom-welcome_1212618769803-450x235.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"235\" srcset=\"https:\/\/agaveweb.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/gwyn-fishers-vanity-site-gwynunlimitedcom-welcome_1212618769803-450x235.png 450w, https:\/\/agaveweb.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/gwyn-fishers-vanity-site-gwynunlimitedcom-welcome_1212618769803.png 1407w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gwynunlimited.com\/oldsite\/\">How we used to look&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"float: right;\" src=\"http:\/\/gwynunlimited.com\/crunchynuts.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"375\" hspace=\"8\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dawn of the &#8216;Cus&#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gwynunlimited.com\/blog\/?p=69\">Day before<\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gwynunlimited.com\/blog\/?p=70\">Day he arrived<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gwynunlimited.com\/blog\/?p=79\">December 24th 2004<\/a> (black Thursday) , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gwynunlimited.com\/blog\/?p=205\">Our first small fortune at the vets &#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gwynunlimited.com\/stuanne.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Stu and Anne come to California<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Look it! I used to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gwynunlimited.com\/books.htm\">read books<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Crunchy nut cornflakes disappeared off the market in the States, and all I have left of them is this scan of a limited edition packet from 2004&#8230; No photoshop. That&#8217;s the uberpatriotic packaging. This was in the days before Steven Colbert.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And finally for today, I discovered the wonderful world of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gwynunlimited.com\/rollover.htm\">javascript rollover effects<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If I find more stuff I might salvage it and put it here.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve just downloaded 200 megs + from gwynunlimited.com (my old corner of the internet) with a view to shutting it all down.
